Earlier today, Samsung suggested that the company’s upcoming F-series smartphone, the Galaxy F55, will be a rebranded variant of the Galaxy C55, a smartphone that the brand launched recently in China. Now, we have information about the price of the device for the Indian market.
According to a post from Abhishek Yadav on X/Twitter, the Galaxy F55 will come in three memory configurations in India: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and that the base version will cost INR 26,999, the mid-variant will cost INR 29,999, and the top-end model will cost INR 32,999.
That’s exactly how much the Galaxy M55 costs in India, and it makes sense for the Galaxy F55 to cost the same as both devices are one and the same (the Galaxy M55 is a rebranded variant of the Galaxy C55). It’s worth mentioning that in India, Samsung sells the Galaxy F-series smartphones exclusively through Flipkart, and it will be the same case with the Galaxy F55.
Since the Galaxy F55 is a rebranded variant of the Galaxy M55, expect the F-series device to have the same specifications as the M-series device, including a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, a triple camera setup at the rear with a 50MP primary camera featuring OIS, a 50MP selfie camera, stereo speakers, a and 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging.
