The day Galaxy Z Flip 4 owners have been waiting for is finally here. Samsung has finally released the One UI 6.1 update to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 outside its home country, indicating that a wider rollout is now underway. The update is now available in some European countries, with others to get it soon.
The update was released to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in South Korea a few days ago.
Galaxy Z Flip 4 gets One UI 6.1 update across Europe
Samsung has released the One UI 6.1 update to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in some European countries. It comes bearing firmware version F721BXXU6FXE3, and is a major update in terms of features and download size. It doesn't include the May 2024 security patch, though, and stays with the April 2024 security patch. To download the update on your Galaxy Z Flip 4, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install.
The One UI 6.1 update brings several Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy Z Flip 4. You can watch them in our video below. Not all Galaxy AI features debuted with the Galaxy S24 series are available on the Galaxy Z Flip 4, though.
The new features include Circle to Search with Google, real-time language translation in messaging apps and voice calls, Interpreter Mode for face-to-face voice translation, Generative AI-powered image editing. Generative AI wallpapers, webpage summarization (in Samsung Internet), notes summarization and auto-templates (in Samsung Notes), and voice transcription and auto-tagging (in Samsung Voice Recorder).
Samsung Keyboard offers language improvement suggestions and grammar corrections. It also brings custom font options for the lock screen clock widget, improved search in the Gallery app, and more accurate image clipping.
