Samsung seems to be working hard on getting the One UI 6.1 update out to as many devices as possible before the end of this month. This week, One UI 6.1 has gone live for multiple mid-range Galaxy devices, and it is now available for the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro.

According to our tipster, only the Wi-Fi variant of the tablet is getting the update right now, and it may take a few days to be released for the cellular variant. The update bumps the build number up to T636NKOU6CXE3.

One UI 6.1 is coming to the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro two weeks after the Galaxy Tab Active 5. The list of features and changes appears to be the same for both tablets. You can read about all those features and changes here. (For those wondering, One UI 6.1 does not bring any Galaxy AI features to these tablets.)

To download the update on your tablet, go to its Settings » Software update menu and select Download and install. Alternatively, download the latest Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro firmware from our firmware library and install it on the tablet with a USB cable and a PC that runs Windows.

Thanks for the tip, 정성현!

Google made the cover screen on its Z Flip series phone a lot more usable with the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The 3.4-inch cover screen can display several widgets and even some apps, but it didn't support Google Wallet. That seems to have changed now, as the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z […]
