Samsung seems to have released One UI 6.1 for several tablets today. Following our report of the update coming to the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro a few hours back, One UI 6.1 is now rolling out to the Galaxy Tab S7 FE.
The Galaxy Tab S7 FE One UI 6.1 update sports the build number T733XXU6DXE1, T735NKOU5DXE1, and T736NKOU5DXE1 for the Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G variants respectively. It is available in Korea at the time of writing, and there's no telling how long it will take to go live in other markets.
Our video below shows some of the best One UI 6.1 features, so be sure to check it out as you wait for the update to install (or arrive) on your tablet. For the full changelog, check out the general One UI 6.1 changelog for mid-range Galaxy devices, which should also apply to the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, here.
To download the update on your tablet, go to its Settings » Software update menu and select Download and install. You can also perform the upgrade by installing the latest firmware on your tablet with a Windows PC and a USB cable. You can download Galaxy Tab S7 FE firmware from our archives.
The Galaxy Tab S7 FE is the first Samsung tablet that launched before 2022 to be updated to One UI 6.1. Its final feature update will likely be One UI 6.1.1, which will debut on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in July. It will not get Android 15, as it launched running Android 11 and is eligible for only three major Android OS upgrades.
Thanks for the tip, 정성현!
