Just a few hours after the One UI 6.1 update got released for the Galaxy A23, it is making its way to the phone's M-series cousin, the Galaxy M23.
European users get to upgrade to One UI 6.1 before everyone else
The update, which comes with the build number M236BXXU6EXE5, is available for the international model in Europe. Since the update has been released just a day before the weekend, it may not come to Galaxy M23 owners elsewhere in the world before next week.
If you're in a region where Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy M23 One UI 6.1 update, you should be able to download it by opening the Settings app on your phone, accessing Software update, and tapping Download and install. You can also download official Galaxy M23 firmware from our website if you prefer updating your phone maunally over a PC.
While the update is downloading, watch the videos above and below to find out what you can expect from One UI 6.1. The latest version of One UI comes with a considerably large changelog, though mid-range phones don't get access to Galaxy AI and some non-AI features that are available on all of Samsung's flagship phones launched since 2022.
