Samsung has launched its new Micro LED TV lineup (MS1B) in the US, and the TVs will soon be available for purchase. If you can afford the price, a Micro LED is the best TV you can get in terms of picture quality right now. And its pricing starts at a whopping $1,10,000 in the US.

This TV was showcased earlier this year at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, USA. It was launched in South Korea last month.

The 2024 Micro LED TV from Samsung is now listed on the company's website, and you can soon buy it in the USA if you can spend a minimum of $109,999 on a TV. Yes, that is the price you have to pay to get the smallest (89-inch) version of the Micro LED TV.

It is also available in two more sizes: 101 inches and 114 inches. The 101-inch version costs $129,999.99 in the USA, while the 114-inch model costs $149,999.99.

You can watch the new Micro LED TV in our hands-on video below.

Samsung Micro LED TV 2024 features

Samsung's first-ever Micro LED TV was launched in 2018, and it was called The Wall (because it was as big as a wall). Over the years, the company has managed to release Micro LED TVs in smaller sizes. This year, Samsung's Micro LED TV is available in an 89-inch version.

Each pixel in a Micro LED TV is self-illuminating, which means it can create its own backlight and color, similar to OLED. However, it is made using a semiconductor material and doesn't use an organic material. So, there is no risk of burning out at high brightness or temperatures.

The new Micro LED TV from Samsung has a 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate (with VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium). It offers an infinite contrast ratio, perfect blacks, and a sustained brightness of up to 2,000 nits across the display. It features HDR10, HDR10+ Adaptive & Gaming, and HLG.

Samsung Micro LED TV Micro AI Processor

It uses the MICRO AI Processor to upscale content to 4K using AI. Its 4Vue feature lets you view four inputs simultaneously in a 2 x 2 grid. It has eight HDMI 2.1 ports (with ALLM and eARC), two USB Type-A ports, one digital optical audio out port, an Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. It has a built-in ambient light sensor and far-field microphones.

The TV is still not a standalone unit and is made using multiple Micro LED bezel-less panels. Once assembled, it looks like a standalone TV with virtually no bezels.

Its speakers are located all around its edges. It uses a 6.4.4-channel audio setup for a total power output of 120W RMS. Other audio features of the TV include Active Voice Amplifier, Adaptive Sound+, Bluetooth Audio (with Buds Auto Switch for Galaxy Buds), Multiroom Link, Object Sound Tracking Pro, Q-Symphony 4.0

It runs Tizen OS (with Samsung Daily+) and has all the smart TV features. It has Art Mode, similar to Samsung's The Frame TVs. It comes bundled with the SolarCell Remote.

It also features AirPlay, Alexa, Bixby, Game Bar, Google Assistant, Philips Hue Sync, Samsung Gaming Hub, Samsung Health, Samsung TV Plus, Smart View, SmartThings Hub, Super Ultra Wide Game View, Tap Sound, and Tap View.
