Back in April, we learned that Samsung is developing a new Fan Edition (FE) smartphone, the Galaxy S24 FE. Well, the company seems to have almost completed the development of the smartphone as it has now started benchmarking the device.
The Galaxy S24 FE has been spotted on Geekbench. The listing is for SM-S721B, which will be the international variant of the smartphone. According to the listing, the Galaxy S24 FE features the Exynos 2400 SoC and 8GB RAM and runs on Android 14.
The Galaxy S24 FE running Exynos 2400 is no surprise as the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ also feature the same chipset, at least in all the regions except the US. That being said, people hoping to see a Snapdragon chip inside it will be disappointed.
What else will Galaxy S24 FE offer?
According to a previous report, the Galaxy S24 FE will feature the ISOCELL GN3 sensor for the primary camera, the same sensor that the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S24, and Galaxy S24+ use. Sadly, that’s all the information we have about the device at the moment.
The story continues after the video…
Samsung is unlikely to launch the Galaxy S24 FE at the next Galaxy Unpacked event because if it was planning to, we would have seen many more leaks of the device. For more such information, follow our channel on WhatsApp by clicking on the link below.
