The Galaxy S24 series smartphones were the first from Samsung to get the June 2024 security patch. Up until now, the company released the latest security update to the carrier-locked and carrier-unlocked variants of those phones for the United States and also to the Korean versions of those devices. Now, the brand is making the June 2024 security patch available to the international versions of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in Europe.
The new firmware for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra carries version S921BXXS2AXEF, S926BXXS2AXEF, and S928BXXS2AXEF. It fixes 59 security issues. To get it on your smartphone, open Settings, scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on Software update, and tap the Download and install button. The new firmware is available in our database but if you are not familiar with manual installation of firmware, you should refrain from going with that method.

Unfortunately, the latest update doesn’t fix the battery drain issue. We hope that Samsung releases another software update soon to remedy the problem. On a related note, the company is expected to release a major software update next month, right after the Galaxy Unpacked event, which will bring a number of improvements to the camera performance of the Galaxy S24 series. So, that’s something you can look forward to. Follow us on Telegram or WhatsApp to get notified whenever Samsung releases that update.
