Samsung sells multiple wireless chargers for smartphones, smartwatches, and wireless earbuds. Every year, the company launches new wireless chargers alongside its high-end smartphones. With the upcoming Galaxy S22 series, the South Korean firm might launch another fast wireless charger.
A new fast wireless charger from Samsung has been found in FCC's (Federal Communications Commission) database. It bears model number EP-P2400 and has a rounded square shape. The upcoming wireless charger also appears partially in the test setup images, and it has a compact size. Going by the information in the documentation, the charger supports up to 15W Qi wireless charging.
The EP-P2400 has a USB Type-C port on the back and takes a maximum of 25W of power. It can charge wireless earbuds and smartwatches at 2W and compatible smartphones at 4.5W, 7.5W, or 15W. Samsung tested the charger with the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Note 10, and the Galaxy Buds Pro.
We still don't know the new charger's final name, but it might be an entry-level device. Unlike the Wireless Charger Duo or the Wireless Charger Trio, the EP-P2400 can charge just one device at a time.
