The Galaxy Z Fold 3 first received Android 12 and One UI 4.0 in December. Due to unforeseen issues, Samsung was forced to halt the update for about a week before resuming the stable release. Now, the company appears to be turning its attention to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 variant that you might not be very familiar with, namely the W22 5G.
The Samsung W22 5G is a redesigned Galaxy Z Fold 3 variant for China. It's a bit larger than the normal model but has the same core specifications. It's also significantly more expensive, as it hit the shelves in China for the equivalent of $2,640.
So, if you're one of the relatively few Samsung W22 5G owners in the world, you should now be able to download the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update carrying firmrware version W2022ZCU2BULF.
W22 5G owners should be able to download the update by opening the Settings app on the phone and accessing the Software update menu. Or they can wait for the update notification to arrive. Either way, One UI 4.0 adds more customization options and improves mobile productivity, so you'll want to download it as soon as possible.
