Samsung is preparing to reshuffle its smartwatch lineup for 2024 with the release of the Galaxy Watch 7 series. Not counting the recent Fan Edition variant, the upgraded 2024 lineup should consist of a standard Galaxy Watch 7 and a brand-new Galaxy Watch Ultra. Color options and US prices for these two wearables have supposedly just leaked.

According to new information (via 91mobiles), the standard Galaxy Watch 7 — which should follow the design of the Galaxy Watch 6 — will be available in three color options: Marble Gray, Cream White, and Forest Green.

Meanwhile, the report mentions only one color option for the Galaxy Watch Ultra: Titanium Gray. However, early renders indicate that at least the silicon wrist strap could be available in different color options.

As for the body, the Ultra variant is rumored to boast a Grade 4 titanium chassis, which means “Titanium Gray” is more than just a color name. It could be a label that tells customers more about the smartwatch's build and Samsung's material choices.

Update: A Galaxy Watch Ultra in silver with an orange button also emerged online (via Ice Universe and NotebookCheck).

Rumors also say that the Galaxy Watch Ultra might feature a Sapphire Crystal display protection and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, but that's nothing new compared to previous Galaxy Watch models.

Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra prices

This new report claims to reveal US prices for the 40mm Galaxy Watch 7 and the 47mm Galaxy Watch Ultra. The standard Watch 7 should be available in two sizes, however, rumors say that the Galaxy Watch Ultra may only exist in a 47mm configuration.

As far as US prices go, the report claims that the 40mm Galaxy Watch 7 will cost between $299 and $310. For reference, the 40mm Galaxy Watch 6 was released for $299.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra will be another matter, as according to this rumor, Samsung will price it between $699 and $710. If true, this would make it the most expensive Galaxy Watch ever produced, overtaking the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro's launch price.

The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which technically is Samsung's first smartwatch wrapped in a titanium coating, was released in 2022 for $449 (Wi-Fi) – $499 (LTE).

For customers on a tighter budget, Samsung's entry-level model this year is the Galaxy Watch FE, which the company unveiled ahead of the upcoming Unpacked event. This makes it a 2024 release but not exactly a part of the Watch 7 series. The Fan Edition smartwatch will be released in the USA next week for $199. The other two high-end series-7 watches should be announced at Unpacked in July.
