The Galaxy A33 is finally official, and Samsung was kind enough to reveal some availability and pricing details. Prospective buyers don't have to wait much longer before they should have the option of purchasing the device, though it's not going to hit the shelves this month.
The Galaxy A33 will be available starting April 22. Samsung hasn't gone into specifics regarding market availability in different regions, but at least some markets will have the phone on the shelves on the 22nd of next month.
Galaxy A33 has a higher launch price than the A32
The Galaxy A33 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be available in the UK for the starting price of GBP 329, Samsung confirmed during the launch event.
You may have noticed that the phone has a higher launch price than the Galaxy A32 5G did at launch by about GBP 80. The 2021 model debuted for GBP 249.
It's worth noting that the Galaxy A33 is a vastly different phone than the previous models. It has water-resistance, Super-Fast Charging capabilities, a powerful mid-range chipset, and a 90Hz display, to name a few.
These extra features appear to have increased the price, but some corners were also cut. Namely, the Galaxy A33 doesn't ship with a wall charger and doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone port.
