Samsung is wasting no time in making sure One UI 4.1 is available for as many devices as possible, as quickly as possible. It was only recently the One UI 4.1 update started rolling out for the company's flagship devices, and a mid-range Galaxy phone has now joined the list.
The Galaxy A52 5G is being updated to One UI 4.1 today. It isn't technically the first mid-range device from Samsung to be getting the update, but it's the first one to get the stable release (the other mid-range Galaxy devices that are currently on One UI 4.1 are running beta software). The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52s 5G don't seem to have joined in on the action yet, but we can expect that to change soon.
One UI 4.1 includes many new features, all of which debuted earlier this year with the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series, such as Google Duo Live Sharing, improved file sharing, and the ability to customize the amount of virtual memory through RAM Plus. The Galaxy A52 5G, like Samsung's flagships, is also getting the Game Optimization Service fix that improves gaming performance.
The Galaxy A52 5G's One UI 4.1 update is out in a dozen European countries, and it shouldn't be long before it arrives in additional markets. As with any update, you can download this one from your phone's Settings » Software update menu. The One UI 4.1 firmware comes with build number A526BXXU1CVC4 and is available in our archive for those who would like to manually upgrade their phone using a Windows PC.
