Samsung has released a new software update to the Galaxy A71, but it's not the one you want. Yes, the smartphone has started getting a new security update. The phone hasn't received the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update yet.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A71 comes with firmware version A715FXXS8BVC1. The update is currently rolling out in Spain and the UK, but more European countries will get the update within the next few days. The March 2022 security patch included in the update fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities.
If you are a Galaxy A71 user in Spain or the UK, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A71 in early 2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2. It received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update in early 2021, but it hasn't received the Android 12 update yet.
