Samsung has released a new software update to the Galaxy S10 5G. The device is now getting the April 2022 security patch as a part of the update that has been released in a few European countries. More markets could get this update within the next few weeks.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S10 5G has been released in Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Nordic countries, and the UK. The update comes with firmware version G977BXXSBHVD1 and includes the April 2022 security patch that fixes over 88 security vulnerabilities. It might also bring general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy S10 5G user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can now download and install the latest security update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy S10 5G in early 2019 with Android 9-based One UI software. The smartphone received the Android 10 update in early 2020, the Android 11 update in early 2021, and the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update in early 2022. It received the One UI 4.1 update a few weeks ago.
