Samsung has finally released the Android 12 update to the Galaxy A41. The new update brings a new UI design, improved performance, new features, and more feature-rich built-in apps. It also includes the April 2022 security patch.
The Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy A41 comes with firmware version A415FXXU1DVDB. The update is currently rolling out in Russia. More countries worldwide could get this update within the next few weeks. The April 2022 security patch included in this update fixes 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities.
This new major OS update brings a revamped UI design with the Color Palette feature, new widget styling, an improved widget picker, more lock screen widgets, better AoD, and a better Dark Mode design. It also brings updated versions of stock Samsung apps, including Bixby, Bixby Routines, Samsung Calendar, Samsung Internet, Samsung Keyboard, and Samsung My Files.
Samsung has also improved the privacy and security of the phone through features like Privacy Dashboard, quick setting toggles to enable or disable camera and microphone access, and privacy indicators for camera and microphone usage. The South Korean firm has also added new accessibility-related features to the Galaxy A41.
If you are a Galaxy A41 user in Russia, you can download and install the Android 12 update on your phone by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A41 in mid-2020 with Android 10. The mid-range phone received the Android 11 update in mid-2021 and the Android 12 update today. It might not get more Android OS updates in the future.
