Samsung launched the Galaxy A52s 5G in mid-2021 after a severe chip shortage that led to supply chain issues for the vanilla Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A52 5G. The phone was launched with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 on board. It received the Android 12 update earlier this year. It will get two more Android OS updates in the future.
