Samsung will add more storage options to its upcoming foldable phone series. As per SamMobile's exclusive reports earlier this month, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will get a 1TB variant, and Samsung will double the storage of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 to 512GB. These top-tier storage options have now been confirmed to exist in South Korea.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 with 512GB of storage and the 1TB Galaxy Z Fold 4 were recently spotted on a Korean website called Handphone. It's led by the Korea Association for ITC Promotion, and according to redditors, the website manages information about lost cellphones and sometimes lists devices that are on their way to the market in Korea.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are rumored to make an official appearance at Unpacked on August 10. The clock is ticking, and the foldable phones are nearing their debut fast, which can explain their mention online.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 with 512GB of storage is listed along with model number SM-F721N. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 with 1TB of storage is listed alongside model number SM-F936N.
Needless to say, these two entries in the Handphone database lend even more credibility to our earlier exclusive reports. Samsung is indeed planning to release these 512GB and 1TB storage options for its upcoming foldable phones, but we'll have to wait and see if these variants will be released globally or in select markets only. We should find out more soon enough.
In case you need a reminder, the existing Galaxy Z Fold 3 tops out at 512GB of built-in storage, while the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is available with 128GB of 256GB of memory.
