Samsung is yet to release the July 2022 security update to the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+, but the Galaxy S10 Lite has already received the newest security patch. The trimmed-down version of the Galaxy S10 Lite has started getting the July 2022 security update in Europe.
Right now, the newest software update for the Galaxy S10 Lite has firmware version G770FXXS6GVG1, and it is currently available in Spain. More European countries are expected to get the latest update within the next few days. The update brings the July 2022 security patch that fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities. The update could also include general bug fixes and stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite user in Spain, you can download the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. If you are familiar with the process, you can also download the latest firmware file for your phone from our database and flash it manually.
The Galaxy S10 Lite was launched in early 2020 with Android 10 on board. Samsung released the Android 11 and Android 12 updates to its affordable high-end smartphone in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
