Samsung has announced two new gaming monitors under its Odyssey lineup: Odyssey G6 and Odyssey G7. These are the company's (and the world's) first gaming monitors to run the full-fledged Tizen operating system, giving you direct access to various audio and video streaming apps and, more importantly, cloud gaming services.

The Odyssey G65B is available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes. It uses a VA panel with QHD resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, a 1000R curvature, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. The Odyssey G70B is also available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes, but it uses a flat IPS LCD panel with 4K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, and it is Nvidia G-Sync compatible.

Samsung's Gaming Hub is built into all four models, which means you can access cloud gaming services, including Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, Microsoft Xbox Cloud, and Nvidia GeForce Now. They also have Samsung's Game Bar feature that allows gamers to quickly view the status of gaming settings, response time, and adjust screen ratio.

They can also run all the audio and video streaming apps available on Samsung's smart TVs. These new gaming monitors also feature Wi-Fi 5, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Samsung DeX, Samsung Health, and SmartThings. They also feature far-field mics for on-demand access to Alexa and Bixby.

Samsung says that these monitors will be available globally in Q4 of 2022. Prices and detailed specifications will likely be revealed closer to their launch. The Odyssey G6 and the Odyssey G7 are being showcased at the ongoing Gamescom event in Hall 9 in the Koelnmesse, Cologne.
