Just one day after rolling out the September 2022 security update to the Galaxy S21 FE's Snapdragon version, the update has been released to the Exynos 2100 variant of the device.
The latest software update for the Exynos 2100 version of the Galaxy S21 FE (SM-G990E) comes with firmware version G990EXXU3CVH7. It brings the September 2022 security patch that fixes over two dozen privacy and security vulnerabilities listed in Samsung's security documentation.
If you are a Galaxy S21 FE user in Panama or Thailand, you can install the new software update on your device by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 FE earlier this year with Android 12-based One UI 4 software onboard. It will get four major Android OS updates in the future. The first such update will be the Android 13-based One UI 5, which could be released later this year or early next year.
