Samsung has confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event is set for July 10, months after our insiders helped us leak the exact date. In keeping with its goal to host Unpacked events in different cities and countries, Samsung has chosen Paris as the venue this year.
Samsung will take the stage 16 days before the 2024 Summer Olympics' opening ceremony, and this will be one of the busiest Unpacked events ever.
Next Galaxy Unpacked is going to be a busy time
At this event, Samsung will announce new flagship foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6; its first ever Ultra smartwatch along with the Galaxy Watch 7; the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro wireless earbuds; and the Galaxy Ring, its first-generation smart ring.
As with the Galaxy S24 launch earlier this year, Samsung's press invite puts the spotlight on Galaxy AI. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 series will introduce new AI features that Samsung will later port to older devices. Galaxy AI is also coming to the company's wearables.
In our opinion, the Galaxy Ring will steal most of the limelight. Samsung already gave the media a glimpse of the smart ring in February, and finally, we will be able to get up close and personal.
