Samsung is on a roll today. After releasing the September 2022 security update to the Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy S20 FE, and the Galaxy S21 FE, the company is rolling out the new security update to the Galaxy M12.
The latest software update for the Galaxy M12 bumps up the firmware version to M127FXXS3BVI1. The update is now available in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Trinidad & Tobago. The update brings the September 2022 security update that fixes over a couple of dozen privacy and security vulnerabilities.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M12 was launched in February 2022 with Android 11-based One UI 3 software onboard. The smartphone received the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update a few days ago. It will get the Android 13-based One UI 5 update sometime next year.
