If you are a Galaxy A13 (4G) user, here is some good news: your phone has started getting the One UI 6.1 update. The update comes a month after the Galaxy A13 5G received it.

The update brings several new features to the Galaxy A13.

The One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A13 is now available in Europe, and it comes with firmware version A137FXXU5EXE3. It has a download size of around 1.4GB but doesn't include a new security patch. It still features the May 2024 security patch that it received last month. You can see more details in the screenshot below.

You can download the update now if you have a Galaxy A13 and live in Europe. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Watch our video below to check some of the best One UI 6.1 features. Sadly AI features shown in the video are not available on the Galaxy A13.

What's new with One UI 6.1 on Galaxy A13?

The One UI 6.1 update brings wallpaper effects to the Galaxy A13. You can add effects and frames to the images you choose to be your phone's wallpaper. The new software also brings more widgets to the lock screen. These widgets are from Samsung's stock apps.

You can customize alarm and reminder alerts. Alarm alert customization includes AR Emojis, images, and videos. You can also change the alarm information layout. Reminder alert customizations include custom background colors and images. You can add up to two custom stickers to each day in the Calendar app.

The search functionality in the Gallery app has been improved. You can filter search results by albums, people, places, stories, and types.

Modes can be turned off/on from the home screen. You can also reorder Modes in the Modes tab in the Modes and Routines app. One UI 6.1 brings more actions and conditions (Alarm Stops Ringing or Smart View) for Routines.

The new Quick Share feature is now available on the Galaxy A13. You can locate devices and people (authorized family members or friends) using the Samsung Find app. You can even share your location with family members and friends using the same app. Tab groups in Samsung Internet can be synced between multiple devices signed into the same Samsung account.

Samsung Cloud data is now end-to-end encrypted. Samsung Wallet now supports passkeys. Samsung Health now allows you to set custom daily targets and compete with your own workout records. It also allows the entry of physical symptoms and moods for female menstrual cycle tracking.

The Weather widget now displays more relevant information. You can enter text through voice dictation without hiding the Samsung Keyboard. You can open all minimized apps at once if you have more than one pop-up app window. One UI 6.1 now offers three battery health protection options.
