On your Wear OS-powered Galaxy Watch, the Google Weather app’s Forecast Tile shows you information about four things, location, current temperature, highest and lowest temperatures, and current weather conditions. Well, Google is updating it to show more parameters.

Google is rolling out an update to the Google Weather app for Wear OS. With it, the tile shows the forecast for the next three or four hours (depending on the screen size of the device) in the place of current weather conditions, as you can see in the image below shared by 9To5Google.

Wear OS Google Weather App Forecast Tile Update

The update changes the Google Weather app’s version to 1.9.269. According to various reports, Google is rolling out the update to all Wear OS devices, which means that it will also be available for Galaxy Watches soon. To check for it, go to Play Store » My Apps » Update all.

The story continues after the video…

With the update, people will not have to go through additional steps to check out the weather forecast for the next few hours. We hope that Google updates other first-party Wear OS apps and tiles as well to make them take full advantage of large screens such as that on the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
