Galaxy M05 fully revealed by early Amazon listing

We haven't heard much about the upcoming Galaxy M05 since the phone got spotted at the Wi-Fi Alliance months ago, but now, it's back in full force.

An early listing of the Galaxy M05 has popped up on Amazon India, revealing pretty much everything there is to know about the phone except for the price and release date.

The Amazon listing also contains a handful of official renders that showcase the Galaxy M05's design from every angle. The listing presents the phone in a Mint Green color.

The Galaxy M05 has an Infinity-U selfie camera notch, a thicker lower display bezel, and two rear-facing cameras. It sports a flat back panel and screen, but unlike pricier low-cost phones, it doesn't have the Key Island frame. Instead, the frame is slightly rounded, resembling that of the Galaxy S22 flagship from 2022.

    Every Galaxy M05 specification revealed

    Samsung's upcoming Galaxy M05 sports a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720, an 8MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear-facing camera, and a 2MP depth camera.

The phone is also equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and the MediaTek Helio G85 chip.

The fine print also mentions a version with 6GB of RAM, but this characteristic is not outright listed in this early Amazon spec sheet, so it remains in question. The phone measures 168 x 77.8 x 8.8mm and weighs 195 grams.

Other specs worth noting include expandable storage, a 3.5mm audio port, up to two Android OS upgrades, and four years of security patches.

The Galaxy M05 will ship with Android 14 and One UI 6, and the retail box will include the phone, a USB-C cable, and a SIM ejector pin. No charging brick will be included.

    More details after the video

Additional information shared by Amazon confirms that the Galaxy M05 is manufactured by Samsung and Dixon Technologies at the Noida factory. It is a ‘Made in India' device.

Exactly when the Galaxy M05 will go on sale is unknown. The Amazon listing mentions September 3 as the “date first available,” but we're well past that point and the Galaxy M05 is not yet on sale. Either way, given this listing, we're guessing the Galaxy M05 should hit the shelves in India soon.
