That's not the case for the new Galaxy S24 FE. It offers the full Galaxy AI experience straight out of the box. The Galaxy S24 FE comes pre-loaded with Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1 out of the box. It has every single Galaxy AI feature that Samsung has introduced over the course of the year.

- Live Translate: Translate calls in real-time in Samsung apps and third-party apps like WhatsApp.
- Interpreter: Translate any in-person conversation with someone who speaks a different language. Or, using Interpreter's Listening mode, get translations for one-way communication, like a lecture or presentation, into your language.
- Browsing assist: Quickly translate and summarize webpages in the Samsung Internet app using the Galaxy AI button.
- Generative edit: Move, remove, or resize people and objects in your photos and let AI generate new backgrounds for any missing pieces.
- Enhance wallpapers with special effects: Choose a photo to use for your photo ambient wallpaper and watch it change along with the time of day and weather conditions in the location you set for your weather widget.
- Quickly save Instant slow-mo clips: After watching a video in instant slow-mo, you can save the part you slowed down as a separate clip with one tap.
- Generative wallpapers: Use AI to create custom wallpapers based on some modifiable presets and keywords.
- Circle to Search: Circle or highlight any on-screen content to run a search on Google.
These are just some of the AI features available on the Galaxy S24 FE. The phone is eligible for One UI updates for seven years, so it will also get new AI features in the coming years.
