Samsung was expected to release the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 beta update in late July 2024, but it was delayed. It still hasn't been released, and the word is that the update won't be released for quite some time. However, this delay could be a boon for all Samsung users, as One UI 7.0 is said to bring the biggest improvement in Samsung's history.
One UI 7.0 could bring biggest improvement in Samsung's history of mobile software
According to reliable tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), One UI 7.0 will be the biggest improvement in Samsung's history. This improvement is with regard to the overall system stability, smoothness, and fluidity of animations and transitions.
Moreover, they also claimed that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 with One UI 7 (likely One UI 7.1) onboard. Apparently, One UI 7 will perform even better on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. That is due to the combination of Samsung's software, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (also known as Snapdragon 8 Elite) processor, and 16GB RAM. The upcoming flagship Qualcomm chip is the most significant improvement in the company's recent history.
On Ice Universe's personal scale of smoothness, they awarded a score of 60 points to One UI 6. They awarded 85 points to the Galaxy S24 series running One UI 7, while the Galaxy S25 series running One UI 7 received 92 points. There is no scientific method to these scores, but it is the tipster's personal opinion of how good each software feels.
