The Samsung Art Store, available exclusively for The Frame 4K TV, is constantly welcoming new works of art. It is an ever-changing landscape of paintings and photos delivered on The digital canvas of The Frame, and this week, Samsung has added more than two dozen new masterpieces from MoMA (Museum of Modern Arts) to the platform.
Founded in 1929, MoMA is described by Robin Sayetta as “A place that inspires, stimulates minds, and fuels creativity.” The museum was conceived as a place that would fuel experimentation and creativity.
According to Samsung, the new art MoMA collection added to The Frame TV was carefully selected by Art Store Global Curator Daria Greene.
In total, 27 new works from MoMA's collections are now available on The Frame. Among them are Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, Evening Star III by Georgia O’Keeffe, The Dream by Henri Rousseau, and Fulang Chang and I by Frida Kahlo.
Samsung says it wants to continue collaborating with different artists, museums, and institutions to continue offering artworks that inspire through the Art Store. At the moment, the platform hosts more than 2,500 works of art.
Earlier this year, Samsung also released The Music Frame, which doesn't have a digital display or access to the digital Art Store but can be used as a frame for real album art and photos.
