At CES 2025, Samsung unveiled its new TV lineup for this year. The company's latest lineup includes QLED TVs, Neo QLED TVs (4K and 8K), OLED TVs, and new Lifestyle series TVs (The Frame and The Frame Pro). Its OLED TVs now come in bigger sizes, have higher brightness, and feature a higher refresh rate.

Samsung's OLED TV lineup for 2025 includes 83-inch models
Samsung has announced its new OLED TV lineup, which will be available this year. It includes three models:
- S85F (Glossy, 120Hz)
- S90F (Glossy, 144Hz)
- S95F (Glare Free, 165Hz)
They all come in 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch, and 83-inch sizes. The S90F comes in additional sizes: 42-inch and 48-inch. The 83-inch version of all these TVs uses LG Display's WOLED panel with a WRGB structure. The rest of the sizes use Samsung's fourth-generation QD-OLED panels.
These new TVs are brighter and have a high refresh rate. The S95F, which is Samsung's flagship OLED TV for 2025, features Glare Free 2.0 technology. The company says the newer version should handle glare and reflections even better by reducing them to a higher degree.
We hoped that Samsung would bring its anti-reflection technology to its cheaper OLED TVs, but it didn't. The S85F and the S90F still use glossy panels. All new OLED TVs use the same design as last year's OLED TV models.
All these TVs have new AI features powered by Samsung's in-house chip. The S90F and the S95F have the NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, an upgrade over last year's NQ4 AI Gen 2 chip. It brings 128 neural networks compared to 20 on the previous-generation chip. The S90D uses the NQ4 AI Gen 2 processor.
They likely also run a newer version of Tizen OS. Samsung is expected to reveal those details (along with availability and pricing) in the next few weeks.
The HDTV Test YouTube channel's Vincent Teoh has revealed that the S95F uses the fourth-generation QD-OLED panel from Samsung Display. It can reportedly reach up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness on a 10% window of the total screen size. The full-screen brightness of the TV reportedly reaches an impressive 390 nits.
MSI's website also reveals that the new QD-OLED panel it uses in its new gaming monitors features the third-generation electroluminescent layer (EL) that has five layers for higher brightness. That is probably the same technology that is being used in Samsung's new QD-OLED TVs.
Samsung's new OLED TVs will be launched in the next few weeks in several countries worldwide. The pricing is expected to remain the same as last year's models. However, we can only confirm once Samsung releases that information.
