Samsung wins big at CES 2023 with 46 Innovation Awards

Samsung announced in a blog post that the company received multiple awards at the Consumer Technology Association's (CTA) CES 2023 Innovation Awards. The CES 2023 Innovation Awards is a program that honors outstanding design and engineering across different consumer technology product categories.

46 Samsung products and services received CES 2023 Innovation Award honors, and three were named Best of Innovation Honorees by the CTA. Samsung won in a variety of categories as a result of its investment in bringing bold ideas to life, as well as its use of sustainable materials, with a greater emphasis on increased energy efficiency and responsible recycling. Samsung also received honors for working towards lowering carbon footprints in major economies such as China, Europe, and the US, thanks to the usage of 100% renewable energy in all facilities in these regions.

Some notable honors were Samsung's S3B512C Security Chip, which got the Best of Innovation Honoree in the Cybersecurity & Personal Privacy category for its advanced security features, including an integrated fingerprint sensor, Security Element (SE), and Secure Processor (SP) on a single chip.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 Bespoke Edition, and Galaxy Z Fold 4 were recognized in the Digital Imaging/Photography and Mobile Devices & Accessories categories. They were chosen due to their innovative designs, FlexCam mode, and other powerhouse features. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series was also honored in the Digital Health and Wearable Technology categories for their enhanced durability, advanced health tracking, GPS-based features, long-lasting battery, and ground-breaking Bio-active sensor.

Samsung's SmartThings Energy picked up an award in the Software & Mobile Apps category for providing the option for its consumers to intelligently operate their connected tech and help reduce home energy consumption. Samsung ISOCELL HP3 200MP camera sensor bagged honor in the Digital Imaging/Photography category. It comes with the smallest pixel technology in mobile cameras and 200 MP to deliver the most detailed images.
