Samsung’s upcoming affordable smartphone, the Galaxy A14 5G, has leaked plenty of times in the past, revealing most of its specifications. However, none of those leaks had any concrete information about its launch timeline and the countries where it would launch. Well, the leak that we have today confirms that the Galaxy A14 5G is coming to India, and its launch is imminent.
A support page for the Galaxy A14 5G (SM-A146B/DS) has gone live on Samsung’s official website for India, which means that the smartphone could launch in the country. Typically, the brand takes lives a support page for a smartphone just before its launch, so we think that the Galaxy A14 5G could launch in the country very soon. Unfortunately, the support page doesn’t reveal anything else.
According to a previous leak, the Galaxy A14 5G will have a 6.8-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution. The phone made a visit to Geekbench on multiple occasions, revealing that it could come in two versions; one with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and the other with Exynos 1330 chipset. These visits also confirm that one of the memory configurations has 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage and that it will come with Android 13.
The Galaxy A14 5G also stopped by FCC, revealing that it will have a 5,000mAh battery, sub-6GHz 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port. The leaked renders of the device show that it will have three cameras at the rear, including a 50MP primary camera. Expect the Galaxy A14 5G to be priced slightly higher than the Galaxy A13, which retails at around INR 15,999 in the Indian market.
