No sooner than a photo of the Amber Brown variant of the Verizon Galaxy S4 was leaked, the carrier has made the device available for purchase, at the same old $199.99 two-year contract-price for the 16GB model.

The Autumn Brown S4 can be ordered online from both Verizon and Best Buy, and you can also buy the unlocked version for $649. The specs remain the same – a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 5″ Super AMOLED 1080p display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front shooter, 16GB of storage expandable via microSD cards, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA+, LTE and NFC connectivity, a 2,600mAh battery, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung's Nature UX 2.0.

AT&T and Verizon Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active can now load custom ROMs through SafeStrap Recovery

Samsung has never been a manufacturer that wants to prevent its customers from loading custom ROMs onto its devices, but U.S. carriers like AT&T and Verizon have a polar opposite policy and often lock down their devices' bootloaders to keep everyone on the stock software. Now, owners of Verizon and AT&T's Galaxy S4 and AT&T's […]
