UPDATE: It's official. Order here for $49.99 on 2-year contract.
The leak late last month gave us an idea that Verizon will launch the Galaxy S III mini and the listing on Samsung US' website confirms the same. The phone, just like on AT&T, will cater to the entry-level crowd with its affordable price tag and 4G LTE compatibility. If you'll excuse the ‘logo-fied' home button, you'll find Android 4.2.2 running the device along with Samsung software enhancements like S Voice, Easy Mode, Group Play, Share Shot.
On the hardware side, it will come with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA (800×480) display, 5MP camera, 8GB memory, microSD card that supported up to 64GB and 2,000mAh battery that promises up to 11 hours of talk time.
There's no fixed date for the release but we guess that an announcement should come in the next few days.
