Another day, another security update. Samsung has today started rolling out this month's maintenance release for the Galaxy Note 5 in Taiwan, following its arrival on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in the Netherlands on Thursday.
For those who missed its announcement, the November security update bundles patches for 61 vulnerabilities in the open-source Android operating system and six for the firm's own modified software, as well as a fix for the KRACK Wi-Fi exploit.
Here’s how to check to see if the update’s ready for your Galaxy Note 5
To check to see if the OTA is ready for your Galaxy Note 5, open Settings, select Software Update, then tap Download Updates Manually—or if you'd rather flash the update onto your handset, you can fetch the firmware from our database.
