At CES 2024, Samsung unveiled the 2024 variant of the Odyssey G5 gaming monitor, which carries the model number G50D. After almost three months, the company has finally launched it, in the United States and South Korea.
The Odyssey G5 comes in two screen sizes 27-inch and 32-inch. Samsung has priced the 27-inch variant at USD 499 and the 32-inch version at USD 599. Both models come in only one color option, and that is black, and are readily available to purchase in the United States from the brand’s official website for the country.
Depending on the screen size you choose, the Odyssey G5 offers a 27-inch or 32-inch IPS LCD with QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) resolution, a 180Hz refresh rate with support for AMD FreeSync, 1ms GTG response time, up to 350 nits brightness, and support for HDR10+ with VESA DisplayHDR400 certification. You get one HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort 1.2 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The stand offers height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments.
