Google's handy Circle to Search feature debuted with the Galaxy S24 earlier this year. The feature was then released to older high-end phones in the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series. Now, with a new update, Samsung has started rolling out the Circle to Search feature to over 25 million Galaxy phones and tablets worldwide.

More than 25 million Galaxy phones and tablets get Circle to Search

Last week, Samsung announced it will bring Circle to Search to mid-range Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Earlier this week, the company started rolling out the feature to those devices, and over 25 million Galaxy smartphones and tablets have now started getting Circle to Search with a software update.

The August 2024 update has brought Circle to Search to millions of Galaxy phones and tablets worldwide. Those devices are listed below. Samsung has become the first smartphone brand to bring Circle to Search to mid-range smartphones.

You can see how the Circle to Search feature works in our Galaxy AI video below.

Although it may seem like Circle to Search is just a rebranded version of Google Lens, it isn't. It is way faster and more accurate than Google Lens, as the feature is baked into the operating system. Moreover, it can be activated from anywhere on the phone by long-pressing the navigation gesture bar or swiping from the screen's bottom right or left corner and then circling the thing you want to know more about.

With Circle to Search, you can find information about anything on your phone's or tablet's screen. For example, you can activate Circle to Search for more details on a pair of shoes your favorite celebrity is wearing in a YouTube video. You can also translate text from one language to another or find a song playing on the device or near your location.
