Samsung reopened its Galaxy Studio stores in Korea on July 11, around the time the company was introducing its latest foldable flagship phones and Galaxy wearables at Unpacked 2024 in Paris. This weekend, Samsung revealed that these key locations have surpassed 300,000 cumulative visitors in less than a month.
Galaxy Studio stores are special pop-up locations where Samsung offers visitors a comprehensive overview of the Galaxy experience. Samsung says two of its Studio locations, operating at The Hyundai Seoul Mall and Samsung Store Hongdae, have registered more than 300,000 visitors since reopening on July 11, setting a new record.
Samsung also opened the Hongdae store — among others — earlier this year when it promoted the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy AI.
Open for business for one more week
Samsung's unique Galaxy Studio pop-up locations have an airport theme designed to make visitors feel like they're on a journey. These locations were set up so visitors could interact with foreign employees using the new Galaxy AI dual-screen Interpreter tool.
Although the Galaxy S24 was the first to get the Galaxy AI-powered Interpreter earlier this year, Samsung updated the feature last month to take advantage of the dual-screen designs of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The Galaxy Studio stores consist of multiple zones. Among them is a First-Class zone where visitors can experience the Galaxy Z Fold 6. There's also a Boarding Zone where people can take commemorative photos using the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Through the Boarding Zone, Samsung intends to make visitors aware of the new foldable's Auto Zoom capabilities.
In addition, visitors who experience these latest products at Galaxy Studio locations and leave reviews on social media channels enter a raffle to win devices like the Galaxy Watch 7 and the latest two foldable phones.

Samsung says its two Galaxy Studio stores, at The Hyundai Seoul and Hongdae, will be open until August 11. After that, the Studios will likely remain closed until early next year, when Samsung could reuse these locations to promote new devices, such as the upcoming Galaxy S25.
In the meantime, until August 31, Samsung will offer an enhanced Galaxy Exchange Compensation program, through which customers can get trade-in values of up to 1.1 million Won ($805). Those who create a Samsung account and buy the Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Flip 6 by August 31 get two Galaxy SmartTag 2 trackers for free.
