Alleged pricing details for the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G have surfaced. They don't seem very confident, but they may give us a general idea of Samsung's plans for commercializing its two mid-range Galaxy A phones in Europe.
The Galaxy A34 5G will be available in two memory configurations, featuring 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, Samsung appears to have upped the ante for the Galaxy A54 5G, giving it 8GB of RAM for both storage options, i.e., 128GB and 256GB. Here are the alleged rough prices for Europe (via Appuals).
- Galaxy A34 5G (6GB+128GB) to cost between €410 and €430
- Galaxy A34 5G (8GB+256GB) to cost between €470 and €490
- Galaxy A54 5G (8GB+128GB) to cost €530–€550
- Galaxy A54 5G (8GB+256GB) to cost €590–€610
As you can see, these price estimates for Europe are not set in stone, so you should probably take the information with a pinch of salt.
Moving on to other details, supposedly, the Galaxy A34 5G will be released in four color options: silver violet, lime, and graphite. Similarly, Samsung may release the Galaxy A54 5G in white, lime, violet, and graphite. As usual, color options will likely differ by market, so not every European country will have access to the entire color range.
As far as other hardware specifications go, details on the Galaxy A34 5G are a bit more conflicting, with some reports pointing at an Exynos chipset and others hinting that the phone will be powered by MediaTek.
As for the Galaxy A54 5G, the device will supposedly feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an Exynos 1380 chipset, and a 50MP primary camera with OIS and 4K video recording, which may be accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide shooter and a 5MP macro sensor.
Samsung has yet to announce these phones or hint at an official release date, but Mobile World Congress will commence in Barcelona later this month, and the company may want to reveal new Galaxy A phones at the event. Time will tell.
