Android 12 and One UI 4.0 went live for the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 lineups in December, but the update has yet to reach every customer globally. Firmware updates, especially major OS updates, get released gradually. Samsung pushed out Android 12 in a limited number of regions at first, but the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 lineups are getting One UI 4.0 in more countries as we speak.
As a reminder, we've prepared a couple of lists that can help you keep track of where the Android 12 update is going live for the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 lineups. Both lists now include more countries than they did yesterday, and as usual, the latest firmware files are available for download from our website.

What's the big deal about Android 12 and One UI 4.0?i
One UI 4.0 carries on the tradition and refines the user experience without changing things around too much. Samsung apps have a refreshed design, and there's a new color theme mode inspired by Android 12.
With the latest update, Google went back to redesigning one of the features in Android that have been neglected for a long time, namely widgets. As a result, One UI 4.0 comes with redesigned widgets and a reworked widget selection screen, alongside many other new features. Check them out in our videos below.
