The Galaxy Watch 6 is Samsung's latest smartwatch. Samsung is enticing owners of the Apple Watch Series 8, which came out last year, with a great offer to get them to switch. It's giving them its brand new Galaxy Watch 6 for prices starting at just $49.
The company would be hoping that these incentives get people to ditch their Apple ecosystem and join the Galaxy. Samsung has much to offer customers thinking to switch from Apple, including foldable phones, which Apple doesn't seem to be focused on at the moment.

A great offer for Apple Watch Series 8 owners
The base model of the Galaxy Watch 6, which is the 40mm Bluetooth/Wi-Fi variant, starts at $299. If you buy the Galaxy Watch 6 from Samsung.com, the company will offer you increased trade-in values for your old smartwatches, Interestingly, the highest trade-in value is being offered for the Apple Watch Series 8 at $250. That's even higher than the $200 Samsung is offering for its Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
Instead, Samsung is even offering $200 for the two year old Apple Watch Series 7. Deduct the $250 trade-in value of the Apple Watch Series 8 and you only need to pay $49 for the new Galaxy Watch 6. Clearly, these deals are meant to entice Apple fans to try switching to Samsung. Obviously, the smartwatch in isolation won't do them much good, they'll need a compatible Samsung Galaxy device to get the most out of it.
Fortunately, Samsung is running some amazing deals on its smartphones as well, including the ability to get the Galaxy S23 Ultra for just $299. These deals are only being offered for a limited time so if a switch to Samsung has been on your mind for some time now, this is when you go ahead and open your wallet.
