Long-time Samsung fans remember when the company used to poke fun at its biggest rival, Apple, in all sorts of ads. It hasn't happened in some time, but Samsung may have found its funny bone again. The tech giant just released a new ad on social media, telling people they don't have to follow the crowd.
You can check out this new ad on Samsung USA's X channel. The gist of it is that every iPhone looks the same. It's kind of like going to a fruit stand that only sells apples when there's a whole galaxy of options out there.
Meanwhile, Samsung offers different form factors and designs, like the Fold and Flip lineups or the Galaxy S Ultra series with an embedded S Pen.
Samsung has never been afraid to experiment with new ideas
Our favorite tech giant makes the point that, although iPhones differ in size and capabilities, they offer the same experience, more or less.
Galaxy phones, on the other hand, come in various shapes and even function differently. The Fold and Galaxy S user experiences are vastly different, even if One UI is similar.
In that regard, the Samsung experience is more diverse, while Apple makes every iPhone user look the same. On X, the company says, “If you fit in, you won't stand out.”
Next year, Samsung's mobile device lineup might diversify even more. There are rumors that the company is working on a new foldable phone with dual hinges. There's also a Galaxy S25 Slim in the works, supposedly. And who knows what else the company might plan for us in 2025? Stick around and find out.
