Google has announced that it will soon enable background music playback on YouTube Music for free. It means that you can now enjoy YouTube Music on your Galaxy smartphone or tablet even if you are not a premium user of the music streaming service. Earlier, this feature was limited to YouTube Premium subscribers.

This new feature will be enabled on November 3, 2021, but it will be limited to Canadian users for now. Users in other countries would have to wait to get this feature. Users can continue using YouTube Music like any other music streaming service such as Apple Music or Spotify, and music playback will continue even when the app is minimized. However, since the free tier is ad-supported, users will hear some ads between songs.

YouTube Music has a huge collection of music tracks from various artists and genres. Users can also access radio stations, create playlists, and subscribe to existing playlists. They can also upload music and listen to it anytime. YouTube Music is also available for the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

Which music streaming service do you use on your Samsung smartphone or tablet? Lets us know in the comments section below.
