As we learned earlier, Samsung will sell a case that enables Qi2 wireless charging on all three Galaxy S25 models. The Qi2 wireless charging standard features a magnetic alignment system for faster and more efficient wireless charging, similar to Apple's proprietary MagSafe wireless charging tech.
Third-party accessory makers like Spigen will also offer Qi2-enabled cases. However, it's unclear if Samsung will increase the wireless charging speed on the new phones. Rumor has it that the Galaxy S25 series will charge wirelessly at 25W, even though the Qi2 standard currently tops out at 15W, which is the same maximum speed Samsung's existing flagships already support.
We can expect many more Galaxy S25 leaks, including live pictures, in the days leading up to the official launch, which is set for January 22. Just don't expect to catch a glimpse of the rumored fourth model, the Galaxy S25 Slim. That model is unlikely to be unveiled alongside the base, Plus, and Ultra models.
