Brave Software has announced that Brave Browser for Windows now runs natively on the ARM64 architecture. It means that the web browser should now require fewer resources to run, resulting in improved battery life and faster system performance, and run more smoothly on devices with ARM chipsets, such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3, Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3, and Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2, compared to before.
From what we could gather, the company is offering this improvement with the latest version of the web browser, which carries version 1.62.162. You can download it from the Microsoft Store, the official Brave website, and Github. If you have already downloaded the app, you can get the latest version by updating it using the Microsoft Store
Recently, CPUID also released a version of CPU-Z for Windows for the ARM64 architecture. In general, more and more developers are optimizing their apps for Windows for the ARM64 architecture as each day passes by. It could help Qualcomm in a big way with the release of the Snapdragon X Elite. Speaking on which, Qualcomm has said that the devices with this chipset will start arriving with the next version of Windows in mid-2024.
