The upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra was featured in a new batch of fan-made renders earlier today, but nothing beats the real thing. And apparently, someone on X (formerly Twitter) got their hands on the real Galaxy S24 Ultra and posted a few photos.
The photos below (via @DavidMa05368498) showcase the real Galaxy S24 Ultra. Supposedly, this is not a dummy unit. It's the actual flagship that Samsung intends to unveil in January.
The photos reveal a flagship with a flat back panel and a completely flat screen, which is a nice surprise for the S Pen device. It looks like Samsung finally paired the S Pen with a display that doesn't curve around the edges, which should help the user experience.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is an evolutionary step
Similar to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the upcoming model has individual camera cutouts on the back panel and a square footprint.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra's metal frame has slightly rounded edges, but the top and bottom edges are flat. The right edge accommodates the power button and the volume key, along with an antenna.
According to recent reports, Samsung intends to unveil the Galaxy S24 series on January 17 at an Unpacked event in San Hose, California.
