Earlier today, we revealed that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in early July 2024. Now, the design of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has been revealed for the first time, and it looks like Samsung won't bring a big design change this year.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 has no big design change
The design of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 was leaked by SmartPrix and OnLeaks. The phone looks extremely similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 5, and that was expected, as the South Korean firm had introduced a big change just last year. The flip phone still has just two cameras, and the sides of the phone are completely flat. Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the corners of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 are quite curved.
According to these renders, the Galaxy Z Flip has a 6.7-inch inner OLED screen. It also features a centrally-aligned punch-hole-shaped cutout for the selfie camera. On the front, it has a 3.4-inch cover display with a folder-shaped design on the bottom. The hinge of the phone doesn't look any different than the one found on the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
The only big change that is expected from the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is its bigger battery. According to previous reports, the device could be powered by a 4,000mAh battery, which is slightly bigger than the 3,700mAh battery found in the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It could be powered by the Snadpragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor.
