The latest software update for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is now live in the US. The update comes with firmware version F926USQS5HXD1 and is now available on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile networks in the country. It could be released by other carriers in the nation shortly.
The update includes the April 2024 security patch, which brings a few dozen security patches for vulnerabilities discovered in the past few months. It doesn't bring the One UI 6.1 update, which is expected to introduce some new features to the foldable phone. You can watch those One UI 6.1 features in our in-depth video below. The update won't bring AI-powered features to the phone, though, as they are limited to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and newer foldables.
If you have a Galaxy Z Fold 3's carrier-locked version in the US, you can now check and install the new update on your phone.
