The July 2024 security patch fixes 58 security issues. Currently, Samsung is rolling it out the carrier-unlocked variant of the device for the United States (SM-G781U1). The new software update changes the phone’s firmware version to G781BXXS9HWL6. The company should start rolling it out to other variants of the phone in the next few weeks.
To check for the July 2024 security patch on your Galaxy S20 FE 5G, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. If you don’t see an update, it means that Samsung hasn’t made it available for your device yet. In that case, keep checking regularly until you get it.
