If you've been with us since the beginning of the week, you likely have an idea of just how crazy Qualcomm's new chip is. We had the opportunity to attend Snapdragon Summit 2024 in Hawaii and got all the information we could from Qualcomm about the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. We talked about it a lot over the past few days, but today, we made a new video overview for readers who are now trying to catch up with the Snapdragon-related news.

First things first, while Samsung hasn't said anything about the Snapdragon 8 Elite being used by the Galaxy S25 series — or at least the Galaxy S25 Ultra — TM Roh himself went on stage at Snapdragon Summit, which spoke volumes about the future of the Galaxy smartphone series in relation to Qualcomm.

At this point, it's almost guaranteed that at least one Galaxy S25 variant will boast this powerful new chipset.

More to the point at hand, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is pretty insane. Performance numbers are through the roof, and everything about this new chip sounds amazing.

Without further ado, check out our Snapdragon 8 Elite overview video below, and don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel if you want to see more videos like this.
